One of the best hotel in Chinatown Bangkok
Rooms design are very soothing, great lighting and superb cleaniless, staff are fluent in English and very polite, kind and helpful. Just walking distance to many Chinatown attractions and great food too.
There is a very cosy courtyard at level 4 to hangout and a very nice cafe to sip a cuppa away.
Was here from 1st Jan 2023 to 4th Jan 2023, the weather is very nice, the vibe during the day is great with a small and cosy shopping centre just adjacent to the hotel.

Magical Chinatown at Bangkok!
Bangkok Chinatown is the largest Chinatown in the world. It is also, quite arguably, one of the best Chinatowns to visit as well. While many countries have Chinatowns, none compare to Bangkok’s
Getting There - the best way to get to the heart of Chinatown is to take the MRT subway to the Hua Lamphong stop. Take exit one and you will be a short walk from Wat Traimit. You will also be a short taxi ride from the other must-see destinations in Bangkok's Chinatown.
Attractions - Wat Traimit and Wat Mangkon Kamalawat are two temples found in Bangkok Chinatown. Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, houses the world’s largest gold statue. This statue is on the fourth floor of the temple, surrounded by beautiful Thai architecture. Wat Mangkon Kamalawat is Bangkok’s largest Chinese-Buddhist temple, with roots that go all the back to 1872.
Hotels - Some of the best Chinatown / Yaowarat hotels in Bangkok are:
ASAI Bangkok Chinatown Traveler rating: 5.0/5
Shanghai Mansion Bangkok Traveler rating: 4.5/5
W22 by Burasari Traveler rating: 4.5/5
Food & Restaurants - If you love seafood, then Chinatown is the place to be in Bangkok. Head to the famous Yaowarat Road after dark to find some of the best eats in the city. If you are not sure where to begin, just follow the crowd. If you see a herd of Thais eating at a certain stall, it is most likely because of the amazing food. Fai-Kaew Yao Wa-Rat is one seafood stall that draws in some of Bangkok’s biggest crowds. There are numerous dishes to choose from, including stir-fried crab and sweet and sour shrimp. The cook is a crowd pleaser, shooting flames high into the air while diners look on.

ASAI Bangkok Chinatown is a lifestyle hotel located right in the heart of one of the best Chinatown in the world for their street foods. Just opposite Wat Mangkon Mrt station, beside I'M chinatown shopping mall. This hotel is newly built, i think before covid time, so everything looks new, shower water pressure is good. Mulitplug sockets and USB are available in the room. Nice decorations at the lobby for people to chill with drinks and snacks, beside a pool table for a game.Yim Yim guarding the entrance is made entirely of recycled waste materials found in the neighborhood crafted by local artist Eric Tobua.

Asai Chinatown Bangkok
Great location in Bangkok to stay and the hotel helped sort out very reasonable airport transfers.
Rooms are not too big, and they have the weird semi-translucent glass wall to ceiling across the while bathroom and shower.
Breakfast was good with fresh eggs cooked to order and plenty of choice, and half decent coffee.
Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hidden Gem in Chinatown
ASAI Chinatown is really a hidden gem hotel in Chinatown, Bangkok. The rooms are very new, it is located on top of a shopping mall, I’m Chinatown and it’s very near to the metro station, Wat Mangkon (Blue line). I also like it that the toilet comes with a bidet for washing.
